My mother, a cancer survivor, inspires me daily with her incredible energy and enthusiasm for life.
Recently, I have witnessed several friends and acquaintances fight through serious illnesses. Their experiences
have caused me to reflect further and anew about the nurturing and sustaining of hope,
the fruition of dreams and wishes, and the strength of the spirit within.
